Terms of Service

1The service

WattLoft provides a dashboard for Tesla vehicles: live telemetry, drive and charging history, battery health, stationary drain, alerts, automations, remote commands, an optional AI analyst, a fleet map, and companion apps for iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and Homey. The service is in early access: features evolve, and these terms apply to whatever the service is on the day you use it. By creating an account, or using a share link, you accept them.

2Your account

• You must be at least 16 to hold an account. Provide a working email address — password resets and important notices go there.
• Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; the built-in sharing features are the way to give others access.
• Share links are keys. A link you create grants its access — including live location — to anyone who holds the URL until it expires or you revoke it, and a claimable link can attach the car permanently to another account at the level you chose. Distribute links as carefully as you would a key; everyone using them is bound by these terms.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, including commands sent to cars from it and by the automations you configure.

3Connecting a car

• Only connect vehicles you own or are authorized to access and control.
• Access is granted on Tesla's own sign-in page and can be revoked by you at any time — from WattLoft, or from your Tesla account. Commands additionally need the virtual key you approve on the car.
• If you connect through your own Tesla developer application, that application, its credentials, and any charges Tesla makes for its use are between you and Tesla.
• Vehicle features depend on Tesla's Fleet API and Fleet Telemetry; what Tesla changes, limits, breaks or retires is outside WattLoft's control.

4Commands & automations

Commands and automations act on a real car in the real world. You are responsible for what you send and schedule, and for verifying outcomes that matter. An automation is a convenience, not a safety system: never rely on the service for anything where failure could endanger people, property or pets (including climate for passengers left in a vehicle), and remember that automations can wake the car and use its battery.

5The AI analyst

The analyst explains alerts and readings using an AI model and, sometimes, web research. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Its output is information to help you decide what to look at next — not a diagnosis, not a repair instruction, and not a substitute for Tesla service or a qualified technician. Anything involving safety, warranty or the high voltage system should be confirmed with Tesla before you act on it.

6The apps

The Mac app is downloaded from wattloft.com as a notarized build; during early access the iPhone and Apple Watch apps are provided as builds for testers, and the Homey app through its installer. The apps are licensed to you for use with your WattLoft account, not sold; do not reverse-engineer or redistribute them. Apple and Athom are not parties to these terms and have no obligations regarding the apps.

7Acceptable use

Don't attack, probe, overload or attempt to access other people's data or cars; don't scrape the service or use it to break laws or Tesla's terms; don't resell access to the service without our agreement; don't use the analyst to generate content unrelated to your car. Accounts doing any of this can be suspended.

8Fees

WattLoft is free during early access. Paid plans are planned for the future: they will be announced at least 30 days in advance, nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement, and if you choose not to pay you will keep the ability to export your data and close your account.

9Your data

Your data is yours. You grant WattLoft only the license needed to store and process it for the purpose of operating the service for you and the people you share with. Handling is described in the Privacy Policy; on request we export your data or delete it.

10Availability

The service is provided as-is, without uptime guarantees, and may be briefly interrupted for maintenance and updates. Telemetry depends on the car, its connectivity, and Tesla's platform — gaps happen and are normal, and figures derived from gappy data (battery health, efficiency, drain) are estimates.

11Ending things

• You can stop at any time: disconnect your Tesla account, and ask us to delete your data; your account is closed and the data removed.
• We can suspend accounts that violate section 7, and can wind down the service — with reasonable notice and a window to export your data.

12Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, WattLoft is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for the behaviour of Tesla's platform or your vehicle, for the analyst's answers, or for decisions made on the basis of displayed data; total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which, during early access, is zero). Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including, for consumers in the EU, the rights your national law guarantees.

13The legal rest

• WattLoft is an independent product, not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. “Tesla” and its model names are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.; “Homey” is a trademark of Athom B.V.; Apple, iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc. • If these terms change materially, account holders are notified by email before the change takes effect; continued use is acceptance.
• If a clause is found unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms are governed by the law of Romania, where WattLoft is operated; EU consumers keep the mandatory protections of the country they live in, and may bring claims there.
